What if I want to see a certain provider?

If your need is not urgent, you can always call and make an appointment with your favorite provider.

How do I know if you take my insurance?

Call before your visit and ask the staff. Presently, we are contracted with Blue Shield, Medicare, United Healthcare and Pacificare PPO’s.  If you have questions about your coverage, the best way to get answers is to look at your policy, go to your carrier’s website or contact your broker. There are so many different types of policies that our staff cannot possibly know them all.

I belong to the local IPA. Can I be seen at Yubadocs?

We are contracted to see members of Sierra Nevada Medical Associates IPA for their urgent care problems.   Just call your Primary Care Provider.  If he or she cannot see you in a timely way, ask for authorization to be seen at Yubadocs.  Visits are usually authorized if your provider has no openings that day.
